Boosters are temporary buffs — to your catch rate, EXP gain, shiny odds, and more. Some are personal (only you feel the effect), some are server-wide (everyone online gets the buff for its duration).
Personal vs. server-wide
- Personal boosters land in your Booster Bag — open it with
/booster bagand activate them whenever you're ready. Only one booster of a given type runs on you at a time; if you activate or receive another of the same type while one's running, it queues up behind it instead of being wasted. - Server-wide boosters buff the whole server for their duration, with a boss bar showing everyone what's active and how long is left. Buying or triggering one broadcasts your name in chat.
The 11 booster types

| IV | Raises the chance of higher (up to perfect) IVs on spawns |
| Type | Boosts spawns of a chosen Pokémon type |
| Hidden Ability | Raises the chance a spawn carries its hidden ability |
Every type above can run as either a personal or a server-wide booster — the effect is the same, only the scope differs.
Where to get them
Gem Shop → Services sells two personal boosters directly:

The other 8 types aren't in the Gem Shop yet — they'll be rolled into kits, rewards, and events over the coming days. Today, Catch, EXP, and Shiny boosters also come from:
- Monthly Kits — every donator rank's monthly stipend includes personal Catch, EXP, and/or Shiny boosters (Elite and up), and the Discord Booster kit includes a 30-minute Catch booster.
- Pokédex Ranks — the Primal, Apex, Paragon, and Ascendant tiers each hand out personal Catch booster tokens (1, 1, 2, and 3 respectively).
- Referrals — several milestones on the ladder pay out personal Catch, EXP, or Shiny boosters to one or both of you, and the referrer tiers and streak bonus add Shiny boosters on top.
- Voting — hitting a server-wide Vote Party has a chance to trigger a free server-wide 2× Shiny, Catch, or EXP booster for everyone online (one of five equally likely outcomes), and the VP Shop's Global Boosters row lets you buy a server-wide EXP, Catch, or Shiny booster directly with Vote Points.
"Booster pack" also refers to the unrelated Trading Cards system — ripping a pack there gets you collectible cards, not one of the boosters on this page.
