Cosmetics are purely visual — they don't affect stats, drops, or battles. You unlock them and equip them through the Wardrobe at spawn.
Wardrobe
The Wardrobe NPC is at spawn (you'll find it in the cosmetics/services row). Right-click it to open your owned cosmetics, equip them, and switch outfits.
There are two Wardrobe NPCs in the spawn area — both open the same wardrobe, they're just placed for convenience.
Cosmetic categories
| Category | What it is |
|---|---|
| Hats | Headwear shown on top of your character — Pikachu Hat, Pokémon Cap, etc. |
| Backpacks | Visual backpacks worn on your back. Auto-hides while you're mounted. |
| Balloons | Floating accessories that drift above and behind your character. |

| Particles | Aura and trail particle effects that follow your character. |
| Stand-ins | A posed look-alike wearing your skin that stays behind for a minute after you log off — five poses (Elden Ring, Epic Statue, Sleep, Astral, Beach). |
The current particle catalogue is 21 effects — 10 auras (Sparkle Aura, Heart Halo, End Rod Orbit, Enchant Spiral, Twin Flame Spiral, Soul Wisp, Happy Aura, Cherry Cloud, Nautilus Orbit, Starlight Aura) and 11 trails, among them two tiers of Flame Trail plus Cloud, Crit, Soul Fire, Note, Electric Spark, Witch, Totem and Comet Trail.

How to get cosmetics
Cosmetics are bought with Park Gems (not Pokédollars — see Park Gems) through the Gem Shop — open it at the Gem Merchant NPC or with /gemshop. The Cosmetics tile has two parts:
- The full catalogue — run
/cosmeticsand open its Shop tab, or the Gem Shop's Cosmetics tile, for everything unlocked so far, including the full 91-hat roster. Priced by rarity: Common 250, Uncommon 450, Rare 750, Epic 1,200 Park Gems. - The Boutique — a rotating featured selection, always 20% off the rarity price above (so a featured Common costs 200 gems, a featured Epic 960). Open it via the Boutique NPC at spawn or
/cosmeticsshop.
/cosmetics catalogue is there to browse any time, at the standard rarity price.Rank crest cosmetics
Each donator rank includes one exclusive cosmetic — a "crest" — that marks your rank at a glance. Crest cosmetics are never for sale in the Gem Shop or the Boutique; the only way to get one is to hold that rank. See Donator Ranks for which crest comes with which tier.
Equipping
Open the Wardrobe, pick a category, and click an item to equip or unequip. You can wear one item from each category at the same time (one hat, one backpack, one trail, etc.). Equipped cosmetics persist across sessions.
Backpacks auto-hide while you're mounted on a Pokémon — they reappear when you dismount.
Permissions
Each cosmetic is gated by its own permission behind the scenes — for example, unlocking the Pikachu Hat or the Flame Trail particle only grants access to that one item.
You don't need to know the nodes day-to-day — the boutique grants the right one when you buy. Event rewards and rank perks can also include cosmetics.
Pokémon skins
Your Pokémon can wear cosmetic reskins too — a separate system from trainer cosmetics, bought in the Gem Shop's Skins tile. Crate keys still pull a random skin from a line's pool; the Gem Shop sells the exact skin you want directly, at a premium over the key's expected cost, plus a daily Featured row at 20% off. See Pokémon Skins for the full collections and direct-buy prices.
