The PBG Player Gym League
Eight gyms run by players, an Elite Four and a Champion. Season 1 opens 5 October under Regulation Set Z — and gym leader applications are open now.
How it works
Eight gyms, one type each, one player leader each, one badge each. Beat all eight and the PBG League opens for the rest of the season: an Elite Four of dual-type specialists, fought seat 4 up to seat 1, and then the Champion.
Lose anywhere in the League run and you start again from seat 4 — your badges stay. Beat the Champion and you're a League Winner for the season.
Challenge a gym with /playergyms, or Menu → Gyms & League → Player Gyms. The tile tells you the gym's type, its leader, whether it's open, and whether you've already cleared it this season.
Season 1 — Regulation Set Z
Every three months a new Regulation Set changes which Pokémon and which battle gimmick are legal, badges reset, and the ladder starts over.
Season 1 runs 5 October 2026 → 4 January 2027 under Regulation Set Z: Z-Moves are the season's gimmick, and Legendary, Mythical, Paradox and Ultra Beast Pokémon are out. Singles, six Pokémon, level 100, with Sleep, Evasion, OHKO and Species clauses.
Banned species are blocked the moment you send a challenge, so you'll know before the battle starts rather than after.
What you earn
Beating a gym for the first time in a season pays ₽1,000 and the badge. Each Elite Four seat pays ₽2,000 first time. The Champion pays ₽10,000, a Galaxy crate key and the [League Winner] tag for the rest of the season.
Gym leaders earn ₽300 per battle they take, win or lose.

Want a gym? Apply here. You'll need a mono-type team of six that's legal under the Regulation, and you'll need to actually be around to take challenges — gyms only accept them while the leader is online.
Elite Four and Champion seats aren't applied for. A qualifier tournament runs at the start of the season: the top five qualify, and the winner takes the Champion seat.
