Riding & Shiny Raids Update

Legendary Pokémon can be ridden again, shiny raids now guarantee a shiny catch, and decoration blocks drop when broken.

Improved

Area Zero World Border Added — A world border has been fitted around Area Zero to match its map extent, keeping exploration within the intended area.

Direct Warp Commands with Tab-Completion — Every warp destination now has its own command that tab-completes as you type, so you can jump straight there without opening a menu. The warps menu still works exactly as before if you'd rather browse.

Balance

Shiny Raids Rebalanced — Previously the Shiny modifier appeared far more often but didn't guarantee a shiny result. Now, if a raid rolls the Shiny modifier, every participant is guaranteed a shiny catch, in exchange for the modifier being far rarer to encounter.

Fixed

Legendary Riding Restored — A previous update broke mounting, leaving riders stuck in place while their Pokémon moved off. All 93 rideable species now use the game's native riding, 31 legendaries can be ridden again, and Lugia, Ho-Oh, Latias, Latios and the legendary birds use their official ride models.

Onboarding Quest Fixes — The Settle In quest no longer asks you to claim land with the shovel tool, a step that could never register completion; it now asks for a bed, torches and a meal instead. The Ball Crafter quest now simply asks you to craft 4 Poke Balls, replacing an old step that became impossible once you used up your starting apricorns.

Chained Quest Tracking Fixed — Previously, any quest chained on from a completed one failed to appear in your tracker, leaving its objectives invisible until you dug through the quest log. Chained quests now track normally from the moment they're handed to you.

Z-A Mega Evolution Fixed in Battle — Mega Evolution worked outside of battle but was never offered inside one for any Z-A Mega Pokémon — 44 stones in total, from Garchompite Z and Lucarionite Z through to Dragoninite, Clefablite and Zeraorite. The battle engine was reading the stone's Pokémon list in a format it did not recognise, so it concluded no Mega was available and never showed the button. The original Mega stones (Absolite, Charizardite and the rest) were unaffected and continue to work. Z-A Mega stones also showed an internal code instead of their proper name in the Mega Evolution battle message; they now read correctly.

Pokémon Model and Sound Fixes — Beautifly, Dustox and their female forms, plus Lycanroc's Dusk and Midnight forms, now render with the correct model and texture instead of a broken override. Audino's normal form no longer shows a blank model, and Alolan Sandslash and Wigglytuff have their animations back. A handful of cries that pointed at missing sound files no longer fail, and wild spawns for Pawniard, Bisharp, Pancham, Pangoro, Rockruff and Kingambit are unblocked again.

Decoration Blocks Drop When Broken — Breaking a decoration block used to give you nothing back, even though it looked and acted like a normal block. Over 100 decoration blocks now drop themselves on break, so you can freely rearrange builds without losing the blocks.

Periodic Item Clear No Longer Sweeps Decorations — Previously, a dropped plushie or custom decoration block could get swept up by the server's periodic item clear along with normal item drops. The clear now leaves these items and their supporting helper entities alone, so your decorations and collectibles stay put.
